  • Human Arc

    Position: Web Developer Freelancer

    August 2017 - December 2017

    For my software engineering senior capstone at John Carroll, our group worked for Human Arc to develop an internal training web application. The following was used in the project: ASP.NET, C#, MVC 5, SQL - Microsoft Management Studios with Entity Framework, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JQuery. I stylized the web pages using Bootstrap and added JavaScript functionality to add separate training quizzes. Addionally, I created the database using SQL Server Management Tool.

    Position: Web Developer Intern

    June 2017 - August 2017

    During my time at the Austin based company, I worked closely with the Web Services team on short duration projects for financial institutions. I used Drupal CMS to install content for Alta Pacific Bank & Founders Federal Credit Union sites. Additionally, I checked website's accessibility met WCAG level AA standards using Wave and aXe tools for Fleetwood Bank. I was also able to attend discover & kickoff meetings to discuss client's needs and outline of project.

    Position: Front End Developer Intern

    September 2016 - March 2017

    At Thunder::Tech, I was able to get hands on experience designing and developing websites by using Pug, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, and their internal framework. I joined a team of three front-end developers and contributed to websites such as Cleveland Metroparks, Hiram College, The Coral Company, and internal company projects as well. Through excellent mentorship and tools, such as their User Experience Lab, I expanded my design skills and improved my coding practices.

    Position: Front End / UI Intern

    May 2016 - August 2016

    While at Westfield, I jump-started a multi-million-dollar policy system update project documenting the benefits of Duckcreek Software and its main JavaScript libraries: Prototype, Ext.js, and Scriptaculous. I created examples of each and how they could modernize Westfield's web application design. Additionally, I created a corporate media guidelines document outlining best UI/UX standards and practices in order to provide a superior user experience for all.
